I was minding my own business yesterday – reading an email from Barry Knight. Barry has sent an alteration to the Vinyl Monkeys website gig list. Ok – better do that, I thought and the phone rang. It was Barry! Are you busy this evening? I said no because our gig at Seaton had been cancelled due to “New Management” at the venue. Could you sit in for Bill as he’s a bit poorly.

Does the Pope have a balcony?? You bet I would be able to play!! So I met the guys down at West Bay, loaded into their van and didn’t even have to drive! Thoroughly enjoyed the evening – great pub and great crowd. Just hope that VMs thought my contribution was ok. It seemed to go down ok as they didn’t want us to stop…
