Prevention is far better than “cure”….
A while ago had to be involved with surgery appointments to help elderly relatives and it is an eye-opener just to see the number of people in the hospital and surgery waiting rooms – it’s a never ending flow…………
Our very good friend and mentor, Dr Rex Johnson has ALWAYS said that prevention is by far the best way because generally – although drugs may help – they are not really a natural element that the body can deal with naturally.
I also saw a very good tip in a post about the Unstoppable Dame Angela Lansbury.. Star of Murder She Wrote, when she was aged 93 and still working! When asked was asked on Daytime TV one weekend what was her secret and how she did it replied: “Plenty of GOOD Vitamins and a glass of red wine.”
The gentleman posting said: “Now that’s a lesson to us all – you can buy cheap toilet paper but when it comes to your health, buy quality!”
This can ALSO refer to looking out the better and chemical free versions of personal care and household products – they CAN be found….it just takes a bit of local research.
We have said similar before – but time and again most people do not / will not even consider it.
One point about vitamins that we have said before – “Vitamins will not work without a well absorbed mineral supply.”
“Vitamins are virtually useless without minerals.”

FRESH FOOD SOURCES
If you are keen to find a good source of vegetables and other foods – move away from the supermarkets and find a local farm shop – the quality and taste of the goods in these places can be SO much better – the taste and lasting quality can be SO good.
We’re lucky enough to have one such place not far from us just north of the town of Bridport – walking into the shop you can just smell the difference in the produce.
The carrots taste wonderful (and LAST a lot longer on the shelf than ANY supermarket versions have) – the weight of the lettuces was a surprise!
Again – lasting so much longer. Bananas and the comparison to supermarket versions? NO contest!
