Hello, my name is Mike and thanks for dropping in on this site; whether you meant to or not – great to see you here!

I guess like many people who start to “blog” I really had NO idea what I was doing it for! An age ago I started to set up a couple of blogs that really were / are the pits with no real purpose except to add some helpful information, as I thought. The information IS helpful, but I had NO idea how to get it found by people who look for the stuff!! So I virtually gave up and stayed on designing websites for other people and businesses.

I then found a link on a website one day that made me start to think. It was about the way to make a good steady business online that would work for years to come. Thinking it was “just another” of those brash and bragging sites I had a casual look. What I found was astonishing to me as it actually told you in videos what process is needed to get going on the internet. Well that had me hooked and now I am seriously working towards setting up a great business online, and helping others to do the same.

A little bit about me: My interests include – Good health coaching, photography, drums and playing in bands, walking, the sea, gardening and ponds. Now I can add online marketing as a definite interest!

Web design has been my main business for 6 years now and one of my goals is to expand that to learn even more. My aim is to also help existing customers to make better use of their web sites and hopefully get a better result, whatever that may be for them, from those sites.

To that end I am about to get my head around the WordPress system properly! So I am now going to set about sorting it all in my mind – he says! I also have the WordPress for Dummies book, excellent!

This site is a collection of posts and pages that are helping me to learn the “art of blogging”. Some posts are just a bit of fun and some will be aimed at helping people.

In the meantime – and this is that something that has really caught my thoughts – check out the web page in the Chris Farrell link on the right there. This is a membership site like no other I have found and is WELL WORTH checking out if you have ANY thoughts of an online business.

This guy Chris is SUCH a great teacher and mentor. I totally recommend you take the tour if nothing else. At least you won’t miss the chance to decide from an informed position. See the FREE Video Library that explains it all.
